As a professional makeup artist for more than 20 years, Lilly Stone has had her hands on most of the major cosmetics brands – from Prescriptives to Lancome to Trish McEvoy – traveling across the country and internationally.
A native of Quebec, Canada, Lilly brought her considerable talents to Oklahoma City in 2000. Now, she’s working with one of the newest lines – her own. She is eager to show women what can be done with makeup. “I always have some tricks up my sleeve to bring out a woman’s best features, Lilly said. ‘Color isn’t the only consideration. Using the right tools is very important and a product
must have good texture, easy application and deliver desired results, or a woman won’t use it’. At least not more than once”. Even as a child, she was drawn to makeup. “I got a Barbie doll head one year, and I would put makeup on it all the time.” Playing with her mother’s and grandmother’s makeup and applying it to their faces was always fun and exciting for her. In April 2005, the timing was right for Lilly to launch her own line. She searched for the right manufacturers that would put together the exact formulations, the perfect shadows and the best brushes. Her custom line of cosmetics and packaging allow you to pick your colors and pop them in a magnetic compact. Shadows, blush, bronzer and powder all fit in a slim compact. How great is that?
